The SSEA Toronto Chapter is offering an online course titled "Egyptian Iconography in the Ancient Near and Middle East.” It will take place via Zoom every Saturday in November (November 5 to 26) at 1pm (EDT).
We are pleased to announce the return of in person lectures. Our first in person lecture will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 7 pm at SS 2105 (University of Toronto). We will be welcoming Dr. Daniel Potter (National Museums Scotland), who will be talking about “Buying Power: Archaeologists as Dealers in Egypt and Sudan" (see our website (sseatoronto.wordpress.com) for full abstract and bio). We look forward to welcoming back some old faces and hopefully some new ones as well.
The SSEA Toronto Chapter is happy to announce the return of their annual Ancient Egyptian New Years Dinner. Seats are limited so reserve now!
